Publication of the Year: The Cornell Review
Congratulations to The Cornell Review for winning 2010-11 CN Publication of the Year!
In this Uncommon Knowledge interview from November 24, 2008, Thiel argues that a book published in France in 1968, Le Defi Americain (The American Challenge), has a lot to say to us in 2008, including why the United States has failed to rise to the heights predicted by its author, J. The newest publication to be featured as the CN Publication of the Week is Light & Truth at Yale University.
Staff members of this conservative magazine have created a brand new website over the summer that features a regularly updated blog and in-depth staff profiles. The fall issue of Light & Truth was recently published, and it features some of the newly released CN ads. The cover story on William F. Buckley is very well-written, and the layout of the story inside is eye-catching and nicely presented. Victor Zhao is the current editor-in-chief of the magazine and Harry Graver is the online editor. Keep up the good work, and congratulations Light & Truth!

The CN has new advertisements available to member publications. They can be found on the left column of this page. Look for some familiar faces of students in the network in each!
The general membership ad, available in a small and full-page version, may be used throughout the school year. The intern/fellow ad, also available in two sizes, may be used from now until Jan. 15, 2012 and will be updated each year. You will be reimbursed $50 for running one ad, up to $400 per year.
Please note that you should no longer use old ads that have been distributed. Also, you may run the ads in black-and-white or color, and you may adjust the size as necessary – as long as readability isn’t affected.
